Indulgent Blog Hop

Alas, but my post is just a tad bit late. The computer decided to have a moment and it took me two days to fix it. I can hope "better late than never" will suffice in these circumstances. Now, to get to the matter at hand. I proudly present, the Indulgent Blog Hop!

I'd like to talk about a few of my favorite things. Let's face it, I'm picky. I'm so darned picky that what few things I let myself participate it, I often see as an indulgence. Take the following for example:

*Reading books for pleasure (especially ones that weren't written by friends!)
*Video Gaming
*My electric blanket (I've believe this one is a necessity but my family strongly disagrees. Apparently it isn't normal for someone to sleep with an electric blanket during the summer. Who knew?!)

Considering I read submissions on a regular basis for my day job, reading during my spare time isn't the first thing that comes to mind. As for my drawings, well, I find it hard to put so much effort into something that never truly sees the light of day. Video gaming...Ah, now there is my sweet spot. I adore video gaming. I game as much as I can, when I can. I'm a swords and sorcery gal so please don't ask me to play any shooting games. And my electric blanket? Well, it's the ugliest orange piece of fabric you'll ever see in your life, but by golly it's WARM! *Purr*

So what about you? What is your indulgence? Share yours with me and you could win a free copy of any of my released titles. Leaving a comment will also help place you in the grand running for $100 gift card from Ndulgent Bloggers.

Must Read Monday: Blue Moon House

Due to the holiday weekend I am a day late, but I still simply had to give this book it's due!

Click to buy. Only $2.99!
Julia has the chance to become one of the vampires of the Blue Moon House. Before being accepted, however, she must prove herself to each of the vampires, and each has their own exacting cost.

Ranging from lesbian, to being forced, to physical torture, she is pushed to her breaking point time and again. Eventually her perseverance pays off and she crosses from submissive to dominant and vampire.

I had the pleasure of reading this book in one of it's earliest forms and I was more than pleased when I heard it was contracted by Naughty Nights Press. If you like kink and vampires, this book is definitely for you. Blue Moon House takes BDSM to some of its deepest levels. This is not a cutesy little spanking book. It is sexy, dark, and downright dirty. Heck, I'm a seasoned reader and parts of this book made me blush. I love it when a book can elicit that kind of response from me.

I've heard on good authority, and I'm hoping it remains true, that there will be sequels to this book highlighting other characters. If so, I can't wait to read them as I really felt like each had their own past steeped in a mystery that I was just dying to uncover. Not only that, but I loved the fact that though the heroine was a submissive, she wasn't some whiny little quivering thing. The woman had strength! I seriously recommend this book to those into the BDSM genre or those looking to expose themselves to some hardcore kink. This book is totally a Must Read Monday! ~ D. F. Krieger

(Note: I in no way, shape, or form edited this book or had a hand in it's publication. A copy of this story was given to me in fair exchange for an honest review.)
